Night Owl' seemed to be the perfect name for the piece because I spend many hours awake when I should be sleeping. Every once in a while, for no perceivable reason, I sit up all night as the clock ticks off the hours one after another. Like this abstract painting, my mind seems to move about not focusing on one thing - not worried, anxious, tired, or bored - just very wide awake.
